The Met Kaos Ultimalite is a fancy lid, a fancy weight and a fancy price. As my Grandmother said, "If you want to get ahead, get a hat".

Might as well make it a good one I always thought, what do you think?

The straight goods on Kicking Horse Bike Park, straight from the trail crew's fingertips.

Summer isn't over until the white stuff flies at Kicking Horse Bike Park. The best part of our season is just starting. In September the sun has stopped sucking the moisture out of your body, the incessant drone of bugs fades, the colors change, the light is sharper and richer, the RVs are mostly off the highways and the trails are buff. All season's work has been for the sake of killer riding in September. Are you coming?

Pemberton was the perfect setup for this launch as the riding in and around town is tough to rival anywhere. Great ascents that rewarded you with even better descending are in abundance there and the terrain is what HammerSchmidt was built to excel on.

Here is my personal take on my experience with the Truvativ HammerSchmidt:

The event everyone has been waiting for has finally started. The biggest names with the gnarliest tricks and speed. There was an enormous amount of prize money up for grabs and you bet that you will see the craziest stuff get thrown down to win cash.

This year my Crankworx experience was like no other. For the past few years I have come to Crankworx as a spectator and watched from the side lines. This year I was competing in the VW Trick Showdown and the Monster Energy Slopestyle thanks to my win at Whistler's Air Affair.
